About
I'm Prathamesh - a geek who builds things, writes when something needs to get out, and takes photographs badly enough to still enjoy it.
I'm a software engineer at Frappe, which I arrived at via the acquisition of The Commit Company. These days I build Frappe Cloud v2 after spending quite some time in building Raven.
Writing my goals down here probably isn't a great idea - too many lines. So here are four things I keep having to relearn instead.
Things I keep relearning
- 01
Big wins come from boring days
The real work isn't the work everyone sees, it's done behind the scenes every day when no one is looking.
- 02
Compound interest of effort
Show up when it's hard, show up when it's boring, show up when you don't feel like it, and the magic will happen.
- 03
Engineering philosophy
Patience, grit and not giving up while banging your head against the wall solving problems.
- 04
Right level of delulu
Be delusional enough to have faith that you will eventually win, but realistic enough to take feedback and work on it.
